Central-/Eastern-European Workshop in Berchtesgaden
Bavaria: "Always discover something new!" from June 29th to July 1st 2011
Since 2005 every other year the Bavaria Tourism Marketing ltd. in
cooperation with Munich Airport and Lufthansa has been inviting tour
operators from Central- and Eastern-Europe to participate in a workshop.
This years' event took place in Berchtesgaden. 70 participants from 17
countries met 65 Bavarian tourism representatives to find new contacts
and to improve their business rel ationship to Bavaria. They also had the
chance to enjoy the beauty and tradition of Bavaria as they joined a
Bavarian evening in the Braeustueberl of the brewery in Berchtesgaden,
took part in sightseeing tours in the Berchtesgadener Land (Lake
Koenigssee, Eagels Nest, Salt Mine) and in Munich. The next Central- and
Eastern-European Workshop will take place 2013, though the location is
not yet known.
