Dokumentation Obersalzberg: Obersalzberg started off as a base for Hitler in 1923 and became a second seat of government from 1933 on. The exhibition documents the complete history of Obersalzberg and links it to a presentation of the mainstream themes of the Third Reich.
These themes include an insight into the politics and social aspects of the time and the advent of propaganda and terror. The educational exhibits are presented in a simple and explicit way.

Bunkers: The documentation center also gives access to an interesting section of the extensive fortress-like bunker network constructed below the mountain during WWII.
