Hiking
The first vacationers in the Berchtesgadener Land spent much of their time
hiking through the striking alpine landscapes or enjoying the thrills and spills of winter sports.
The Berchtesgaden locals have long been passionate in carrying out sports activities in their coveted spot of paradise. For decades, some of the world's best athletes – both in summer and in winter sports disciplines – have grown up in Berchtesgadener Land.
